Somnus
It starts with murders in the night, with bodies vanishing into nothingness with naught but their clothes left behind. At first, it's the elderly and the otherwise infirm; but then the young start disappearing too, and not long after them, men and women in the prime of their lives. Scouts and travelers alike start talking of monsters in the dark, daemonic creatures that seem to have crawled up from the pits of hell. Knights come back from guard posts, bleeding red and emanating a strange dark miasma that doesn't dissipate until the light burns it away.
And then, the nights start becoming longer.

"Of course, she'll be in trouble when the king learns that she has ventured out yet again. She has, after all, been explicitly commanded not to do this. But what choice does she have? As the last of the Cetra, she has a duty to protect not just her king, but all his people, and the Planet itself.
