CRAU explanation: Aerith spent close to a year at the Golden Peacock Resort and Casino, and experienced a number of events that taught her more about sex, and in some cases, about herself.

As a result of her time in this place, she's become very accustomed to the idea of sex games and aphrodisiac-laced foods. So she's liable to be a little hesitant about eating from time to time, especially in public, and extra especially because she's been caught out now in the TDM by the candies. However, the main difference is that here, she actually knows what she's participating in all this for, whereas even after a year the grand prize of the game played at the resort is a mystery.

She hasn't been largely changed by her experiences, but she has gained a wider understanding of the world and worlds beyond her own lived experience. She confronted, in words, the idea of her own fated death at the hands of Sephiroth, and was in turn asked to consider why she would willingly return from a place relatively idyllic when her future is so grim.

During her time in the resort, Aerith also formed several close relationships. She has come to realize that she's not unique in this universe, that there are others like her who have grown up marked or different. She has less fear now of aloneness than she did before, because she's realized that no matter where she might be, there's someone who can become a friend.

Also, it is obvious that where she went into the resort a virgin, she has since become more confident in her nature as a sexual being!

CRAU powers: No particular powers as such, but Aerith has a spade tattoo behind her left ear. The tattoo is usually very pale, but the longer she goes without sex, it starts to darken, and has a natural aphrodisiac effect on her if she goes as long as a month without having had sexual contact of any kind.

QUESTIONNAIRE

1. Is your character willing to have sex and able to give informed consent?
Yes.

2. What is the wish your character made? Why did they make it?
Aerith's wish was a relatively simple one to put into words, but big and complex in terms of what it means for both herself and her world as a whole. Her wish is that the world of Gaia can be saved from the great evil that is approaching it across timelines due to Sephiroth's machinations, and further, that she and her friends will see the conflict through hale and healthy.

As for the reasoning, it is both entirely unselfish and extremely selfish. Their conflict against Sephiroth is a dangerous one not only for them but for all of the world; if they lose, any number of lives will be destroyed completely. But she also knows, from the visions and dreams she has experienced, that in order to win, she will likely die. Therein lies the selfish part of the wish: Aerith is still young, and she wants to experience as much of life as she can. While she will fulfill any duty she has, she wants to live, and so if there is a way for them to find victory without her sacrifice being needed, she will wholeheartedly reach for it.

3. How will your character initially react to Decadia's setting?
As she's come from a sex game CRAU, she won't be entirely shocked by the knowledge that there's more worlds out there like the one she just left. Her experience in the previous game made her a lot more sexually open and experienced, so the concept of having sex in order to fulfill a wish doesn't entirely bother her.

What will be somewhat uncomfortable for her, though, is the idea of having cameras pretty much everywhere. Public (or publicized) sex is still entirely new to her, with all her previous experiences being behind closed doors, or at least in places where others wouldn't come across her and her partner. So in regards to that, she'll have to accustom herself, and will definitely be a little uncomfortable at first, even if she tries her best not to show it or let others know.

4. What are you most interested in doing with your character in Decadia?
Part of having Aerith here is about the sex, because of course it is!

But also! Found Family CR is great, and I want to build up a collection of people she can love, trust, and explore herself with, in more ways than one. As previously mentioned, she has started to open up about the things that trouble her—while on the surface she seems like an open book, she has been known to keep her deepest troubles close to her heart, and she's started to gain the confidence and trust to speak of them openly. These things help her connect more closely with other people. Bonding over shared or similar experiences.

To fit in with the above, I'm also looking forward to seeing her continue to grow as a person, to continue to confront the things that have frightened her in the past and grow more comfortable in regards to the thought of them.

5. What aspect of sex appeals to your character the most?
For Aerith, the joy of sex is in the connections she can make with other people.

Whether friend or stranger, she has found already that, due to the intimacy of the act, she can forge genuine, lasting connections in ways that she can't do with words alone. Sex acts require trust in the same way that battle does, so the bond between pairs can be discovered and grown incredibly quickly, creating its own type of connection that Aerith sees as something akin to "love".

It's not that she falls in love with every person with whom she has sex, but she certainly gives a little part of herself to them, and in her eyes, that is a kind of love that is very unique to the act of sex.

6. What kinks does your character have, known or unknown to them? Why do they have those particular kinks?
Up until now, Aerith has mainly experienced relatively vanilla sex. Her "faves" are therefore mostly things that reflect vanilla experiences. However, once she starts gaining more experience outside of that, I can see her finding a lot of enjoyment in BDSM. Healthy BDSM experiences require a lot of trust, and as previously mentioned, what Aerith enjoys about sex is the connections she can form with other people, and the trust that she creates with them in doing so.

While Aerith doesn't have a great interest in being a domme by nature, she would definitely like to experiment with both the submissive and dominant sides of this dynamic, because it's important for her to both trust and be trusted. Also, as a naturally caring person, the act of aftercare is something she sees as almost romantic, regardless of which role she plays.

As of yet, she hasn't had much of an opportunity to explore f/f sex, but it's something that interests her for how potentially gentle it could be.

She also might have had the occasional fantasy about threesomes, sometimes between herself and two particularly important male figures in her life, and sometimes between herself, another woman, and one of those same men. She's not liable to admit to the names, though~.
